Welcome to Zonta International District 5!

District 5 Governor Connie Kingsbury 2026 – 2028 Biennium

Founded in 1920, District 5 is one of Zonta International’s oldest of 32 districts. Across Ohio, Kentucky, and West Virginia, members of our 15 clubs have worked for more than a century to build a better world for women and girls.

This biennium, we are aligning our advocacy, education, and service efforts with Zonta International’s goals.

We will use our Credible and Visible Voices to End Child Marriage—which remains legal in all three states—Eliminate Gender-based Violence, and advance Educational Equality for women and girls. To support Club Success across the district, we will strengthen mentorship and provide essential resources. We will also cultivate strong leaders and reassess our structures to ensure Leadership and Sustainability for the future. Finally, we will Engage Audiences and Allies whose missions align with ours as we build a world where women’s rights are human rights.

Our Zontians bring hearts and hands to service and voices to the fight for equal rights. We are committed to building a better world by empowering women.
